read password from encrypted file

Hi Guys, i’ve got a Script that uses credentials from an other user to create a file on a network storage. At the Moment the password of the user is stored in plaintext inside the script. I’d like to read the password out of an increpted File. Is there any way to do this? Or does someone have an better idea to not store the password inside the script? Thanks !
